Laura Tabakman was born in Argentina, she now lives and works in Pittsburgh, PA. Laura works with polymer clay, textiles, steel wire and recycled materials with a drive for experimentation and alternative approaches. Her current work integrates all her interests, including photography, into jewelry, digital printing, mixed-media sculptures, and installations.

Laura’s Presentation: Image Transfer on Polymer

In this presentation Laura will show how to make image transfers to polymer clay; how to get the digital images ready and how altering them digitally would give different effects. She will also show how transferring to an assortment of polymer clay options and treatments will also lend a variety of results. Attendees will leave with an array of image transfer options to use in their studios.
